NBA Draft Q&A With 76ers Beat Reporter Adam Aaronson
Adam Aaronson of The Philly Voice breaks down what to expect from Philadelphia at No. 3 and what it could mean for the Hornets on draft night
With the NBA Draft just a week away, the Hornets are still in the dark about who might be available at No. 4. That uncertainty starts with the 76ers, who hold the third pick and have yet to tip their hand. To get a clearer picture of Philadelphia’s thinking and what it might take for Charlotte to move up, I spoke with Adam Aaronson, Sixers beat reporter for The Philly Voice.
JP: How confident are you that the 76ers keep the 3rd pick?
AA: The Sixers picking at No. 3 is certainly the most likely outcome, as swinging trades with picks that high can be immensely challenging. The nature of the board and the Sixers’ roster makes investigating moves down extremely logical. But that is also easier said than done, and it sounds at this point like they are far more likely to stick and pick than move down.
